Pre-weekend update

I have now officially survived the first week of classes. Now, last term, the first week just flew by because it was so great. This term, I've come away hoping I won't run off the road in my sheer exhaustion. *Sigh* On the plus side, I'm going to be taking notes for a couple of people in two of my classes this term, and I'm getting paid for it. OK, so it's only a gift certificate for the school bookstore, but hey, money toward next term's textbooks, so goody. Not to mention, one of the classes that I'll be doing this in is history, so maybe that'll help me to stay awake and more interested. Really, I think my only problem with that class is that it's pure lecture, and it's stuff I pretty much already know, with previously unknown random details thrown in to keep me out of that perpetually threatening coma. *Sigh*

I'm just so tired this week, really, and it doesn't seem to matter how soon I go to bed or how late I sleep afterward, I just can't seem to make it through the day without falling victim to heavy eyes. I really hope my mom isn't trying to give me back the cold she caught from me, because that would more than suck.

Anyway, as I've been updating every day for a change, I really don't have any news to report, other than I'll be offline all weekend, since I don't feel like venturing out of the house to update my journal, so this will be my last update for the week. I figured I'd just get it out of the way before I left school and secluded myself away for the weekend. *Grumble* Stupid math quiz on Monday... So, I'll see you all online again come Monday.

Well so how did you do on the quiz? Huh? Huh? I'm sure you did fine. You said it was mostly review. You're braver...move brave? Than I, I'm going to try and avoid math when I go back to school. Hopefully next year(Well the second half of this year) when my daughter starts all day school.

I did fine. It turned out to be only a five question quiz, and I know that I got four of them right. There's just one of them that I'm a little worried about, though, and I think there might have been a typo in it. I worked it both ways, and the answer is easy to get if one of the numbers had been negative, but impossible when it's not. Unfortunately, it's given as a possitive number, so... yeah. I plan to ask the teacher about it today, and really wish I had yesterday before turning the quiz in. If I'm right, there would have been a better chance of getting full credit for it. Anyway, I'll let you know later if I was right. Still 6:30 tonight right? I'll be home about 330, so call me if it's changed. Otherwise I'll just show up about 630.
